About Hlonix
Independent research for a messy compatibility problem
Hlonix is an independent broadband compatibility research site. It turns provider handoffs, authentication rules, VLAN requirements, modem/ONT dependencies and router capabilities into a setup-specific verdict.
What Hlonix is
The site is built around a structured compatibility dataset and an interactive checker, not generic router rankings. A verdict combines the selected service profile with the documented capabilities of the selected router or mesh.
What Hlonix is not
Hlonix is not an ISP, router manufacturer or reseller. It does not guarantee that every account, firmware version or local access-network variation behaves identically. When evidence is incomplete, the checker lowers confidence instead of presenting certainty.
How the research is maintained
Official ISP and manufacturer documentation is preferred. Provider-hosted community material is used only when direct documentation is incomplete and is labelled as secondary evidence. Review dates, confidence and direct source links are exposed so readers can inspect the basis for a result.
Publisher transparency
Hlonix is operated as an independent web publication. Public contact is available at contact@hlonix.com. Required operator details are available separately in the Legal notice, while personal details are intentionally kept out of ordinary editorial and search-facing pages.
