Router catalog
Router and mesh compatibility profiles
The same ISP can produce a different result with two routers that look similar on a store shelf. Hlonix tracks PPPoE, ISP VLAN controls, DHCP Option 61, VDSL termination and AP/bridge behavior by documented model or family.
Capability matrix
WAN features that change the verdict
This matrix summarizes only capabilities backed by the router evidence already used by Hlonix. “Limited” means the cited documentation has a material mode or topology constraint.

Wi-Fi generation is intentionally absent: it does not determine whether the ISP-facing WAN requirements are satisfied.
Why exact router profiles matter
A Wi-Fi generation such as Wi-Fi 6E or Wi-Fi 7 does not tell you whether the WAN side supports the provider's authentication. Hlonix ties capability claims to a documented model or family.
Ethernet router is not a DSL modem
Every named profile here is an Ethernet router or mesh gateway. If the ISP service terminates VDSL in customer equipment, Hlonix blocks a direct setup unless the hardware explicitly includes VDSL.
VLAN support is not one universal checkbox
Some routers expose configurable ISP/IPTV VLAN controls, while Google documents a more limited VLAN path that can require additional equipment. Those differences remain visible in the profile.
Bridge and AP mode change the experience
Orbi and Deco document AP/router modes for provider-gateway topologies. Google documents bridge mode only for a single Nest/Google Wifi device, so a multi-node mesh cannot simply be treated as a generic AP.
