Do not assume every TELUS box has the same menu
The current knowledge-base guidance lists specific compatible gateways. Newer or different hardware can expose different controls.
Port bridge can be preferable to full bridge
A single bridged LAN port can hand the third-party router its connection while leaving other provider-managed functions on the TELUS box.
TV and support are account-specific
If Optik TV or other managed services are part of the account, verify the exact topology before disabling provider-side functions.
